Das erste Missbrauch Album auf Vinyl!!!
Vorhang auf für 14 Deutsch-Punk-Songs in allen Varianten: mal mit Vollgas voraus, mal mit Ska-Elementen, mal im Mid-Tempo mit mächtig Druck - da gibt's die ganze Palette auf die Ohren! Und immer voller Energie!
Vorhang auf für kritische Texte über Sensationsgier (Titel-Song), über die Unterwanderung der linken Szene („Grauzone“) und sonstige rechte Umtriebe ("Scheiße im Schafspelz", "Hey, Staat"), über zunehmende Ghettoisierung ("Flächenbrand") und den Verlust von Idealen ("Mammon").
MISSBRAUCH legt also auch auf ihrem mittlerweile fünften Album textlich mal wieder den Finger in die Wunden der Gesellschaft und gibt musikalisch noch jede Menge Salz bei. Dabei ist deutlich zu hören, dass die sechs Münchener eine eingespielte Combo sind! Die Band existiert seit nunmehr 18 Jahren.
„Vorhang auf“ ist das erste Album der Band, welches auf Vinyl gepresst wird. Das Vinyl ist dabei farbig (rot) und limitiert handnummerierte auf 500 Stück im Inside Out Cover und Beiblatt mit allen Texten.
